Energy Controller

aentron battery systems are scalable from 60 V to 900 V. In order to provide customers with full flexibility in designing their power architectures, aentron has developed the Energy Controller – AEC900500R.

KEY FUNCTIONS & FEATURES:

 

  • Ideal for Mobile Machine / Maritime / ON/OFF Grid applications
  • Up to 100 modules / scalable up to 900 V DC and 500 A
  • Safety Protection Functions:
    • Over-charge, Over-discharge, Over-temperature, Over-current, Short circuit
    • ISO-Monitor >100 Ω/V, HV-Interlock, Service Disconnect, Pre-Charge function
    • Vehicle crash signal detection (CANbus)
  • 1 x LEM Hall effect sensor for current measurement
  • 1 x LEM Hall effect sensor for voltage measurement
  • On board drivers:
  • 2 x HV output contactors (12 V Tyco) (OPEN / CLOSED)
  • Cooling management unit (optional)
  • Pre-charge control, digital output for control of dump resistor

INTERFACE:

  • CANbus communication (default 1 Mb/s, 11 bit ID) (ISO 11898)
    • Provides access to all relevant system information with function and parameter modification
    • Enables communication between GATEWAY and customer application
    • Remote management / track / diagnosis
